Handy free programs

These are some quality freeware items I have stumbled across and find very useful – free and good programs! All tested, all useful and great programs.

Excellent PDF reader

Test speed of your internet connection (shows IP address too)

Take these types of programs with a pinch of salt, they all give different results!

Backup Opera Browser passwords, bookmarks, etc – OISE

Alarm clock – don’t miss important ebay auction bids!

BurnAware – CD/DVD/Blu-ray burner for music, data, etc

AVIDEMUX – excellent cutter, filter and decoder video utility

Handy before using a program like Windows Media (for speed) and also if video file too large for such a program in one chunk.  Works for AVI, MPEG, MP4.
